Jeep Cherokee 2026 will use a 1.6L turbo four-cylinder EP6 engine, with 177 hp from the gas engine and 210 hp combined output in HEV form.
Instead of Stellantis's European eDCT, the North American setup uses a Blue Nexus hybrid transmission closely related to Toyota's eCVT logic.
The package is built around efficiency and smoothness, with an official range of over 800 km and fuel consumption around 6.3L/100km.
