Overview
The 2nd-gen Wish moved to a newer body/chassis structure with improved stability and NVH. Powertrains were updated with Valvematic (variable valve lift) for a better balance of performance and fuel economy, alongside safety and equipment upgrades depending on market/trim.
Primarily powered by the 1.8L 2ZR-FAE NA inline-4 with Valvematic variable valve lift and Dual VVT-i. Most markets use Toyota’s Super CVT-i (some markets/trims may differ), typically driving the front wheels.
