The 1st-gen LC300 moves to the TNGA GA-F body-on-frame platform, improving rigidity, durability, ride comfort and on-road stability. It introduces new twin-turbo V6 powertrains, expanded driver-assistance/safety tech, and enhanced off-road electronics such as Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control, plus EPS for better steering control.
Uses a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 petrol engine (V35A-FTS) with a 10-speed automatic and full-time 4WD with low range and center differential lock, tuned for strong low-end torque and towing/off-road capability. Off-road performance is supported by multi-terrain drive modes and traction/descent control systems.
