Gen 2 improves body rigidity and center-of-gravity control, keeping the front-engine RWD layout with a more focused chassis tune. It moves to a 2.4L boxer engine for stronger mid-range torque and better real-world acceleration and response.

2.4L FA24D naturally aspirated flat-four with Toyota D-4S (direct + port injection), paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic (rev-matching/shift logic). Rear-wheel drive with an LSD depending on market/grade.
