4th-gen Megane RS moved to a 1.8L turbo engine and introduced 4CONTROL rear-wheel steering, with Sport/Cup chassis choices, richer drive modes and a more modern digital cockpit, improving agility and everyday usability.

Uses the 1.8L turbocharged inline-4 (M5Pt) with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed EDC dual-clutch gearbox; front-wheel drive with an electronic limited-slip differential (typically on Cup-spec) to improve traction and corner-exit performance.
