The 3rd-gen Mégane improved body rigidity and chassis tuning, with more mature stability/traction electronics and RS performance chassis setups. The 2012 facelift refreshed styling and equipment while retaining the high-output RS powertrain.

2.0L turbocharged inline-4 (M5Mt) with a 6-speed manual gearbox; front-wheel drive. Tuned for strong boost and a broad torque band, paired with RS-specific chassis and braking setup.
