The 2nd-gen A110 reintroduced Alpine with a lightweight all-aluminium chassis/body, a mid-engine RWD layout and careful weight balance; paired with a dual-clutch gearbox and modern stability/traction calibration to improve agility and usability.

Mid-mounted 1.8L turbo inline-4 (Renault M5Pt family) with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch (Getrag) driving the rear wheels; drive modes and stability systems manage torque delivery and traction.
