Second-generation Panamera moved to the MSB platform with a stiffer, lighter body and major chassis/electronics updates; introduced the Sport Turismo body style for added practicality; improved driver-assistance, infotainment and integrated chassis control systems.

The 4S uses a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 with an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive; optional active chassis systems (by spec) support traction, ride and handling performance.
