Gen 5 (997) refined the classic 911 shape with a return to round headlamps, improved chassis tuning, and more advanced stability electronics (PSM). Optional active suspension (PASM) enhanced both handling precision and everyday ride comfort.

3.6L naturally aspirated flat-six (M97) paired with either a 6-speed manual or 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic. Carrera 4 uses all-wheel drive, improving traction and stability with the rear-engine layout.
