1st-gen GLA (X156) brought an SUV-bodied option to Mercedes’ compact MFA lineup. The facelift updated styling and lighting (market-dependent LED options), improved infotainment/driver-assistance availability, and included chassis/comfort refinements.
GLA 250 uses a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 petrol engine (M270) with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (7G-DCT). It is primarily FWD with optional 4MATIC AWD; direct injection and turbocharging deliver about 211 PS and 350 Nm (varies slightly by year/market).
