Gen 1 CLA moved to the MFA2 platform with the newer MBUX infotainment and expanded driver-assistance tech. The AMG CLA 45 S added the M139 high-output 2.0 turbo, AMG Performance 4MATIC+ torque distribution and Drift Mode for stronger performance and handling.
2.0L M139 turbocharged inline-four (twin-scroll) with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8-speed dual-clutch. AMG Performance 4MATIC+ uses a rear-axle twin-clutch torque control unit for fully variable left-right torque distribution and Drift Mode.
