Gen 1 ADV160 introduced the 156cc 4‑valve eSP+ engine and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), with revised chassis/suspension tuning and adjustable rear preload to improve performance, efficiency and wet-road stability, while retaining Smart Key practicality.

156cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder 4‑stroke SOHC 4‑valve eSP+ with PGM‑FI, CVT belt drive and centrifugal dry clutch; features Idling Stop and HSTC traction control (equipment may vary by HK spec/year).
