The 3rd-gen Focus RS introduced a 2.3L EcoBoost turbo with AWD and torque vectoring (incl. Drift Mode), plus major chassis, braking and cooling upgrades and more advanced drive-mode performance electronics.

2.3L EcoBoost turbocharged inline-4 with direct injection, paired with a 6-speed manual. AWD uses a rear-drive unit with twin clutch packs to actively distribute torque front/rear and side-to-side for traction and handling.
