3rd-gen Focus RS introduced a 2.3L EcoBoost turbo and a new RS torque-vectoring AWD system, adding Drift Mode, track-focused chassis tuning, improved cooling, and multi-mode drive settings for sharper handling and traction.

2.3L EcoBoost inline-4 turbo (direct injection) with a 6-speed manual; RS AWD uses a rear-drive unit with twin clutch packs to torque-vector left/right for torque vectoring, with Normal/Sport/Track/Drift drive modes.
