M4 CS

Track-focused and lightweight, with carbon-fiber accents and CS-specific tuning that sharpens response and cornering. Low, taut proportions and a restrained cabin finish deliver a modern, focused feel.

1st-gen M4 (F82) introduced a lightweight CFRP roof, M-specific chassis tuning and an Active M electronically controlled limited-slip differential; the 2017 LCI brought iDrive 6, full LED headlights and minor interior/exterior updates. The M4 CS is a limited-run, higher-performance derivative with more carbon-fiber parts, weight reduction, sharper chassis calibration and increased output.

Uses the S55 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six with a 7-speed M DCT dual-clutch transmission (commonly specified in HK), rear-wheel drive; paired with an Active M differential and multiple drive/chassis modes (including adaptive damping and steering calibrations) to improve traction and corner-exit acceleration.
