3rd-gen TT (8S) moved to the MQB platform with a lighter, stiffer body and introduced newer in-car electronics such as the Audi virtual cockpit. The 2018 facelift refreshed styling and lighting/infotainment details and refined the overall tuning.

2.5 TFSI turbocharged inline-five (about 2,480cc) paired with a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and quattro AWD. The RS tune focuses on high output, characteristic five-cylinder sound, and strong acceleration with sporty AWD/electronic control.
