The 1st-gen Q4 e-tron is built on the VW Group MEB dedicated EV platform, improving packaging efficiency and EV drivetrain integration, while bringing a more digital cockpit and a broader suite of driver-assistance features to Audi’s compact electric SUV lineup.
The 45 variant uses the MEB electric drivetrain with market-dependent single- or dual-motor layouts, delivering up to 195 kW peak output. Power is sent through a single-speed reduction gear, with regenerative braking and EV battery thermal management.
