The 4th-gen 8Y moved to the MQB Evo platform, improving rigidity, refinement and overall dynamics. It introduced a more advanced digital cockpit (10.1-inch MMI touch and 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit), updated driver-assistance tech and connectivity, with improved NVH and usability.
The 35 TFSI uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged inline-4 (with cylinder-on-demand/ACT), paired with a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch and front-wheel drive. Output is about 150 PS and 250 Nm, tuned for low-end torque and efficiency.
