Gen 2 introduced a new body design on an evolved VH platform with extensive aluminium and carbon-fibre construction. Power was increased and a quicker 8-speed automatic improved performance, drivability and efficiency versus the previous generation.

Naturally aspirated 5.9L (5935cc) V12 paired with an 8-speed Touchtronic III automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive, tuned for high-rev response and faster shifts.
