The 1st-gen V8 Vantage is built on Aston Martin’s VH aluminium architecture for a stiffer, lighter structure, and uses a front-mid engine with a rear transaxle for near 50:50 weight distribution. The 2011 facelift brought styling and chassis updates and introduced the 7-speed Sportshift II automated manual; later Vantage S tuning further sharpened suspension, steering and braking for improved response.
A 4.7L naturally aspirated V8 with a rear transaxle layout. In Hong Kong, the V8 Vantage S is commonly paired with the 7-speed Sportshift II single-clutch automated manual with paddles, tuned for sporty shift behaviour, alongside uprated chassis/brake calibration for better cornering stability and response.
