The 1st-gen Rapide is built on Aston Martin’s VH bonded-aluminium architecture as a four-door GT. From the 2013 facelift (Rapide S), it adopted an updated 6.0 V12 tune plus chassis/aero revisions and refreshed infotainment/driver interface features.
Naturally aspirated 6.0L V12 (AM11) with a 6-speed Touchtronic II automatic and rear-wheel drive. The Rapide S facelift brought higher output/torque with revised throttle/transmission calibration and chassis tuning for stronger high-rev performance and GT cruising.
