First-generation Rapide uses Aston Martin’s VH bonded-aluminium architecture for a four-door sports saloon. The 2013 facelift introduced Rapide S with a higher-output 6.0 V12, quicker Touchtronic II transmission calibration, updated infotainment, and chassis refinements for improved performance and usability.

Front-mid mounted 6.0L naturally aspirated V12 paired with a 6-speed Touchtronic II torque-converter automatic, driving the rear wheels. Features variable valve timing and a high-rev performance tune, supported by sport-focused chassis and braking calibration.
