1st-gen DB9 introduced Aston Martin’s VH bonded/riveted aluminium structure for higher stiffness and lower weight. The 2013 model is a late-stage update featuring the 5.9L AM11 V12 with further chassis/steering/brake tuning for improved performance and refinement.

Front-mounted 5.9L naturally aspirated V12 (AM11) with a 6-speed automatic (Touchtronic II) driving the rear wheels. All-aluminium V12 with variable valve timing, tuned for smooth high-rev performance.
