The 1st-gen DB11 introduced a new bonded aluminium structure and a newer electrical/infotainment architecture, improving rigidity and reducing weight. It also brought more advanced chassis electronics (adaptive damping and stability systems) for sharper handling and high-speed stability versus the DB9.
DB11 AMR uses a front-engine, rear-drive 5.2L twin-turbo V12 paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic and updated traction/stability calibration. The AMR tune revises boost/engine mapping to deliver higher output and sharper response.
