The 1st-gen Giulietta moved to the new C-Evo platform with a stiffer body and more advanced stability/traction systems, improving handling and safety versus the 147, and emphasizing downsized turbo engines (including MultiAir family).

Common HK setup is a 1.4L turbo inline-four paired with either a 6-speed manual or TCT dry dual-clutch. It focuses on strong mid-range torque from a downsized turbo engine for a sporty feel.
